Sepp Odermatt's colleagues swarm around him! He is the master of two colonies of bees on Alp Bluematt on the Stanserhorn. In August, our bee whisperer spins the natural, delicious golden yellow alpine honey. His bees collected the nectar on the lush flower meadows of the Stanserhorn. And yes, Sepp’s mountain honey is typical of what we offer: “Culinary essence of the Alps” The honey is served for breakfast. But that’s not all. Chef Jens Wiedehöft also uses this sweet natural product to enhance the flavor of sophisticated Swiss dishes. This is because hand-picked ingredients from the alpine region form the soul of the revolving restaurant’s culinary offering. The honey is also an ideal gift to take back for those at home.
